At J-D Ranch, our goal is to have your horse be safe, well fed, happy, healthy, and relaxed. Our boarders’ horses are turned out daily (not together). We also keep a good eye on them for any changes – which will be immediately reported to you.

We also want our horses’ owners to feel safe, happy and relaxed too!

Located north of Phoenix, our ranch location offers you the best of both worlds. Providing access to some of the most beautiful trails in all of the Valley. Or you can work your horse in our two round pens or large arena. One round pen and the arena have lights.

We have a trail obstacle course that includes:

•  Low jumps
•  Flags, tarps, barrels
•  And much more!

Trail ride from J-D Ranch to an assortment of great trails. Your biggest decision will be deciding which lovely trail to take because there are so many choices! You can ride in three directions from our ranch without having to trailer.

And our boarding facility is just a short horseback ride to Cave Creek Park, a 2,922 acre park that is the jewel of the Maricopa County park system. With an extensive trail system that wraps around the mountains, you will feel like you have traveled back in time to the gold rush days!

We have a number of different horses at JD Ranch: Quarter horses, Arabians, Paints, and retired horses – our oldest is 34 years and a favorite. They all receive love and care like our own.
